Wharncliffe Construction Planning was established in 2016 to meet the increasing demands for excellence in construction planning, programming, and logistics.
Our community of planners and construction professionals is gaining a reputation for providing logical, detailed planning of pre-construction and construction projects, as well as tender and delivery support and advice through out the construction lifecycle.
We have expertise in a variety of different construction techniques, processes and methodologies in new build, refurbishment, construction and civil engineering across a broad spectrum of industry sectors, on projects up to £100m.
Experienced practitioners in JCT, NEC & PPC2000 forms of contract we are able to meet the programme requirements that are defined under differing contractual arrangements.
Our knowledge of different contractual requirements coupled with extensive experience on one & two stage tenders, negotiated bids, traditional and design & build contracts we are able to adapt to meet your work winning and project delivery requirements.

CONSTRUCTION
Production & monitoring of master, target and short term programmes, incorporating design, procurement & construction programmes, preparation of procurement schedules & assisting with information release schedules and monthly internal & client reports. Production of site logistics and phasing layouts.
Carrying out assessment analysis for extension of time claims and delay analysis
EXPERIENCE
Twenty years main contractor experience across a variety of construction areas including demolition, structural steelwork, reinforced & pre-cast concrete, timber frame, civil engineering and highways construction. Working within healthcare, education, commercial, stadia, carehome, transport infrastructure, refurbishment, hotel, high & low rise residential sectors including student accommodation

Feasibility, Development Stages & Constructability Studies
We assess each project with the information provided taking into account the design process, procurement, location, construction methodology, logistics & constraints.
This will then form the basis of the outline programme, methodology document & high level logistics plan. We then work with our clients, design team and supply chain to identify and mitigate wherever possible, any programme risks to ensure the most efficient solutions are achieved.
Programmes are produced using as-built rates and benchmarked against similar previous projects, considering some of the project specific requirements:

PRE-CONSTRUCTION
Pre-construction planning from concept design, planning submission, review of key pre-construction milestones and production of tender programmes, incorporating design, procurement & construction phases.
We also carry out planning to assist with feasibility studies, pre-planning submission and cost planning functions. We can also offer cost planning & estimating services, tailored to suit.
